Pretty funny you do have a major interlace problem though (streaky lines on movement)Did you edit it on FCP?if so I think I could iron out this problem.

i had it telecined to DV, before the telecine my teacher said it would be a good idea to run it through an 8mm projector so i could log my shots. this being my firt super8 film i just took his advice, little did i know that the projector would put **** on the film and also strach the emultion on a couple of shots! Bugger, hey well its a learning experiance. i edited the film on Prem. Does that help? am unsure what FCP is

methinks it shows potential, but it has to be said that there is a lot slicker stuff out there. not that not being slick is a problem, it just that slick makes people sit up and notice.

HOWEVER

frankly I'm fed up with all the slick stuff out there with no substance.

for instance, Duality http://www.crewoftwo.com/movie/
is quite slick on production values, but it's too long and boring and has no real point to it IMO, other than a filmmaking excercise. A bit like Phantom Menace I suppose ;-)

Think of your own ideas. Imagine if they put that much effort into one of there own sci fi movies. They would get much more recognition.
